Rules Cocktails for a Cause September 27, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Sapp House in Panama City, Florida
A drawdown is a type of reverse drawing during which all tickets are individually drawn at random during the Cocktails for a Cause Party . Drawdown celebration to be held 9.27.2024 at The Sapp House, with tickets eliminated until the last lucky ticket holder takes home the GRAND prize of $10,000. The ticket numbers are displayed on a board on the stage at the event. All proceeds benefit Girls Inc. of Bay County.
Tickets & Prizes
Only 500 tickets will be available to be sold. Tickets are a suggested donation of $100 and will admit one adult to the drawdown event. Individuals may elect to purchase optional insurance for a suggested donation of $25 with a limit of 3 per ticket. All tickets go on the main board. As each name is drawn from the ticket barrel, it is removed from the board. If the ticket holder has insurance, then that ticket is marked as using insurance and is put back in the ticket barrel and put back on board. Individuals must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the drawing and attend event. No one under 21 will be admitted to the event. Winners do not have to be present to win. All winners are required to file a W-9 tax form, as Club 360, Inc. will report the winnings paid to the appropriate taxing authorities. Winners are responsible for paying for paying all taxes regarding any prizes awarded. All proceeds benefit Girls Inc. of Bay County, a registered nonprofit organization, EIN# 23-7393003, office located at 300 Clara Ave. Panama City Beach, FL 32407.
How tickets are distributed
Individuals are recruited to help distribute tickets for a suggested donation of $100. Optional insurance will be presented for a suggested donation of $25 each up to 3x’s per ticket. The ticket entitles the ticket holder to attend the drawdown event and to have their name in the drawdown, no purchase necessary.
More than one person may jointly obtain drawdown tickets and split the winnings accordingly. All names to be included on ticket prior to event as the “ticket holder.” In addition, a W-9 form would have to be completed by all individuals if the group is to win the prize.
Sponsors
The Cocktails for a Cause Drawdown Party committee seeks sponsorships to help offset the cost of the event as well as raise additional funds for Girls Inc of Bay County. Depending on the level of the sponsorship, the sponsor will receive benefits as outlined in the sponsorship packet. Sponsor attendees can obtain Drawdown tickets for a suggested donation of $70 based on sponsorship level.
Silent Auction
Silent auction bids are recorded on a bid sheet next to each prize being auctioned. Minimum bids and bid increments will be on the bid sheets. The high bidder is required to pay for any auction items won at the conclusion of the event. If a high bidder does not claim and pay for an item, then at the sole discretion of the Silent Auction Chair, the prize shall be offered to the next highest bidder, or the auction of that item declared void with the item being retained by Club 360, Inc. for re-auction or other use.
Miscellaneous
By participating in the draw down, all participants agree to be bound by these rules. If there is any dispute or question of interpretation, the matter shall be decided by the Drawdown Cocktail Party committee chair whose decision shall be final and binding on all parties in all respects. By accepting a prize, winners agree that Club 360 Inc. and its affiliates, members and agents will have no liability and will be held harmless by winners for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or personal, including death, due to whole part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes or participation in the contest, even if caused or contributed by the negligence of Club 360, Inc. By participating in the draw down, winners consent to the use of their names and/or likenesses for promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
